N & W Employees honored Earth Day at the corporate office in New Cumberland, PA by planting a tree and garden.Keith McArdle, Transportation Survey Manager, led the group as they planted a Japanese maple tree on the property. Master gardener Brenda Proud, Transportation Project Coordinator, prepared the soil and planted the new garden with the assistance of Dan Ramer, Transportation Geotechnical Manager. Channels Food Rescue, a local organization that collects and distributes perishable food to homeless shelters and soup kitchens will receive vegetables from the garden at harvest time.
