N&W is pleased to announce that Thomas J. Imholte, P.E. has joined the firm as Geotechnical Engineering Division Manager.
Mr. Imholte has 28 years of design and construction experience in the public and private sector markets and has been responsible for geotechnical engineering of numerous highways, bridges and other infrastructure projects. He has worked extensively in the transportation market and has significant experience with design-build projects.
In his new role, Mr. Imholte will oversee and manage N&W’s Geotechnical Engineering team, serving our clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Prior to joining N&W, he was an Associate and Geotechnical Business Unit Leader with Modjeski & Masters, Inc.
Mr. Imholte received a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, West Virginia, and Indiana. He is a member of American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Geo-Institute, Central PA Engineers Week Council. Mr. Imholte was selected by the Central Pennsylvania Engineers Week Council to receive the “2015 Engineer of the Year Award.”
