John H. Smith, IV, PE recently joined N&W’s team as Vice President/Strategic Growth Officer. He will be working alongside President/CEO, Paul J. Navarro, to assess, evaluate, plan, and execute the company’s growth objectives and he will be based in our new King of Prussia office.
John has a very impressive 39+ years of experience in the civil/structural engineering field. He joins our team from WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff, where he worked as a Civil Department Manager for the past four years. In this role, he was responsible for marketing and business development associated with establishing and growing civil, highway, and bridge design services as well as bridge inspection and construction management services in PA. Also among his responsibilities was client relations, business plan development, proposal preparation, staffing, project management, quality control, and monitoring the financial performance of the staff.
John holds his Bachelor of Engineering, with an Architecture emphasis, from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. He’s a Professional Engineer in the states of PA, DE, MD, NJ and VA.
