Welcome New Chief Operating Officer

We are pleased to announce that Ronald Ladyka, PE, CBSI, has joined Navarro & Wright Consulting Engineers, Inc. (N&W), as our new Chief Operating Officer (COO). In that role, Ron will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to oversee and guide the company’s day-to-day business operations relating to financial performance, project delivery, and organizational growth. His focus entails expanding existing client relationships and spearheading the diversification of N&W’s services.

Ron brings more than 25 years of senior-level operations and business acumen in the consulting engineering sector to the N&W team. He will use his successful record as an executive to assist N&W in long-term strategic planning, drive growth through business development, and implement initiatives focusing on resource management and profitability. Ron’s extensive and diversified technical expertise and knowledge of transportation design and construction principles and practices enable him to establish quality control and reliability standards and ensure consistent project delivery throughout the company.

As a structural engineer and certified bridge inspector, Ron has been responsible for design, analysis, inspection, and rehabilitation projects for local, state, and federal agencies throughout the U.S. For more than ten years, he was an FHWA and PennDOT-certified instructor responsible for teaching the entire suite of bridge inspection courses in multiple states. Ron’s specialized experience includes transporting large and complex loads of more than one million pounds, known as superloads, and facilitating the largest and most complex superload projects in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and California.

Born in Scranton, raised in Hershey, and currently living in Harrisburg, Ron is a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania. He received a B.S. degree in Natural Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
