This design/build bridge replacement project involved replacing the existing Pratt through truss bridge with a single span steel plate girder structure supported by spread footings on concrete with solider beam and lagging wing walls. The bridge carrying SR 381 over the Mill Run Reservoir was relocated upstream of the existing structure and has a 170’-0” span within a transition section. The relocation of the structure created a need for wetland mitigation and built up embankment construction.
The following services were provided for the project:
- Bridge design.
- Wetland mitigation plan.
- Joint permit application for wetland mitigation.
- Erosion & sedimentation control plan.
- NPDES.
- Roadway plans.
- Geotechnical design.
- Temporary shoring design.
