Eidenau Bridge Replacement, T-325 over Breakneck Creek

Eidenau Bridge Replacement, T-325 over Breakneck Creek

This project involved replacement of the existing bridge carrying T-325 Textor School Road over Breakneck Creek with a 70’ single span, composite pre-stressed, bulb-tee beam bridge on integral abutment foundations supported by H-piles bearing on bedrock. The existing bridge was built in 1929 and was a single span, steel I beam bridge built on stone masonry abutments and wingwalls.

The structure was widened to the north in order to accommodate two travel lanes. The project also included vertical and horizontal realignment of the existing approaches.

The following services were provided for the project:

  • Preliminary engineering.
  • Surveys.
  • Reconnaissance soils and geological engineering report.
  • Subsurface investigation.
  • Final design.
  • Soil testing.
  • Geotechnical analysis at structure location.
  • Supplemental surveys.
