N&W is proud to announce the promotion of Thomas J. Imholte, P.E. and John H. Smith, IV, P.E. to Project Manager Officers. In order to manage N&W’s continued growth and enhance quality service to our clients, the firm recently reorganized it’s corporate structure in which nine service groups will be directed by a collaborative project manager group that will be guided by Tom Imholte, P.E. and John Smith, P.E.

Tom joined N&W in 2015 to expand the capabilities of the firm’s robust Geotechnical Services Group. John is one of N&W’s most experienced engineers and has helped the firm increase its market share in the Philadelphia region since being hired in 2018. Both will be key players in the continued success of N&W. In their newly developed position as a PMO, their primary responsibilities will be to establish and maintain design consistency and quality across the company as well as enhance the standardization of project management procedures. In addition, John will administrate and mentor the Construction Inspection/Construction Management, Environmental, Survey and Transportation Services Groups. Tom will do the same for the Drilling, Geotechnical, Site/Civil, Soils Laboratories and Structural Services Groups. Corporately, they will be responsible for the productivity and profitability of these service groups. John and Tom will continue as Client Managers for several key clients and project administrators as the company transitions them into their new roles. Paul Navarro, President & CEO noted that “With the restructuring of our company and with Tom and John helping to lead the charge, I am excited to see what new growth and accomplishment we as a team will be able to achieve in the years to come.”
