Michael J. Phillips recently joined N&W’s team as Director of Construction – CM/CI Services and will be based in our new King of Prussia office. Mike will lead N&W’s Program and Construction Management Department, providing program management, construction management and construction inspection services in the mid-Atlantic region. He will provide operational oversight of construction management and construction inspection staff including recruitment, and business development involving promoting N&W’s services to transportation agencies and private sector clients such as the PA Turnpike, PennDOT, DelDOT, MDTA, municipal governments and construction contractors.
Mike joins our team as a retiree from the PA Turnpike Commission where he has worked for the past 30 years. In his latest role with the PA Turnpike, Mike was a Senior Engineer Project Manager and the Construction Project Manager for the I95/I276 Interchange Connector Project. Mike holds his B.S. in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology from Penn State University. He also holds several field certifications and is affiliated with various professional engineering associations.
Mike’s impressive professional accomplishments and qualifications and his overall extensive experience in construction engineering management, project management, traffic management, contract administration, QC/QA, project controls and engineering technology are valuable assets for our rapidly growing team.
