N&W’s Response to COVID-19

N&W’s Response to COVID-19

To Our Valued Business Partners, Clients, Associates and Colleagues:

The current coronavirus pandemic is an unprecedent event that has deeply impacted all aspects of our lives. Circumstances and events are rapidly changing, and what we know today can quickly change tomorrow. All of us here at N&W are deeply moved by the kindness and compassion that those on the front lines of this virus have shown in these trying times and our thoughts are with those that have been affected directly or indirectly by the virus.

N&W has been monitoring new developments on a continuing basis. As all of us continue to learn more about the virus, we will continue to monitor and adhere to the guidance and recommendations of the CDC, WHO and federal, state, and local officials. We want you to know that the health and safety of our staff, families, and our communities is of paramount importance to us. At the same time, N&W continues to be fully operational and it is our intention to continue essential operations to the extent permitted by the proper authorities. Our staff will, to the maximum extent possible, continue to diligently work on your projects in order to fulfill the obligations and commitments that we’ve made to our business partners and clients. At the same time, all of us are prepared to make adjustments to our operations that may be necessitated by changing conditions.

To safeguard the health and safety of our staff, families and communities at large, we have implemented a number of precautions recommended by the authorities including, among other things, social distancing, conducting meetings and conferences via tele-communication or video conferencing, heightened personal and business sanitation practices and the rescheduling of all non-essential travel. Additionally, we have provided our staff with the opportunity to voluntarily tele-work from home, which some are currently doing. Should the virus situation worsen, we have preparations and procedures in place that will allow us to quickly transition the entire staff to tele-work. The staff will remain accessible to you via telephone, cell phone, email, texting or a variety of web-based digital platforms currently available, including those specific to an agency or project. Our staff is composed of resourceful and energetic people. We are confident that they will rise to the challenge of the times and will find the means necessary to maintain the level of service that you have come to expect.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us to discuss how this virus may have impacted the needs of your project and how we can best respond to those needs. We are all in this together and we will get through it together. Ultimately, there may be some things that are beyond the control of any of us, but we are confident that we will collectively work together to deal with those challenges. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Wishing you all continued health and safety,

Paul J. Navarro, PE
President and CEO
