- Coordination with local, state, borough and/or municipalities and perform research necessary to recover records of available documentation referencing existing legal right-of-way.
- Perform field surveys to locate existing right-of-way monumentation or features necessary to support recovered documentation.
- Prepare property matrix maps and related plans that clearly show existing right-of-way alignment, legal right-of-way and adjacent property owners.
- Determination of legal right-of-way widths in accordance with local and state design criteria.
- Preparation of right-of-way plans including individual property plats for construction projects that require property acquisition beyond the footprint of existing local or state right-of-way.
- Attend right-of-way plan review meetings for local and state projects.
- Provide exhibits for public meetings involving large acquisition projects.
- Coordinate any utility relocation with respective facility owners for right-of-way acquisition.
- Prepare utility relocation plans associated with right-of-way acquisition.
- Prepare final right-of-way plans as a Design-Build team member for PennDOT Design-Build bridge replacement projects.
- Coordinate right-of-way acquisition services for PennDOT Design-Build bridge replacements.
- Prepare preliminary and final right-of-way plans for local and state highway and bridge projects.
- Perform quality control reviews in accordance with design policy, manuals and laws for all right-of-way plan deliverables.
